I see it in stores, a 6 oz plastic bottle of water selling for 1.25 to 1.75. People, this is simply, REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER. |

I think it's a rip off because something like a Britta Filter is a lot less expensive. I see the point to bottled water because people like me who have well water generally don't like the taste of the water from the tap but bottled water is not any better than the water that comes from most people's kitchen sink. |

no it isn't its only a doller + and tap water might have lead and other unhealthy things and since your body uses water a lot you may as well get good water than possibly harmful water i think it is crazy to pay like 4 dollars for voss water or imported water from mountains but if it Evian deer park Poland spring it just purified water for drinking and is generic water |

That's ridiculous. Every bottled water that I've ever seen has had a "screw off " not a "rip off" top. |

It is the convenience for people on the move. I put some in my car just in case I am thirsty. But at home I won't drink those bottled water. |

It is a rip off, because it is actually worse than tap water. Bottled water is regulated as a food and not drinking water, so that they can get away with more being in it. And a lot of them that say the water comes from a spring, it really doesn't. Also the plastic used to make the bottles is so thin it breaks away and you drink plastic when you drink the water. True clean water that has no chemical or plastic, hormones, pesticides, herbicides, medication, drugs, and all kinds of other stuff is really hard to find. But I found one water purifier, and the company also makes a sports bottle that has a purifier in it, that you get clean pure water and it adds the minerals your body needs to be hydrated and work correctly. If you would like more info on it just email me at kehrlyfamily@yahoo.com For all of those who think distilled water is good, you need to do some research it is actually taking minerals out of your body every time you drink it. And most purification used for bottled water (except distilled) does not get all the other stuff out, only some. |

It would be a "rip off" if you lived next to a fresh spring or have your own water distiller. I think drinking tap water burns brain cells. The government requires that chlorine and flourine are added to our water so we won't live long enough to collect social security. I have a job, so I can afford to buy clean water. I buy a gallon of distilled water for $0.69. What stores are you going to? I would advise against buying water at the mall or in a convenience store run by foreigners... especially if you don't have a job. |

I think it depends. Where I live now the tap water tastes the exact same so there is no point in me buying it. But where I used to live the tap water tasted gross so I always bought bottled water. |
