Here is comes, I am a Business to Business sales professional who does it entirely over the phone. I love it because it allows me to offer my service to a wide variety of clients without the wasted time of outside sales. I don't sit in traffic, I don't wait in their lobby and I don't take to much of my clients time either. But it is B to B selling...I couldn't call people at home.

Nothing is wrong with the telemarketing if they sell the right products, call the right people at the right time - then it is a good idea.
However, it is a bad one if people abuse the telemarketing and become aggressive on phone calls so that they can get more customers.
Personally I don't like it as I don't like to be disturbed constantly at my own time after a long day of work. While some others like it because they are lonely and want to have some one to talk to.
