In India most of the western and european companies are investing.Though we can not ignore companies from other countrey's are also investing.This is happening because most of the companies manufacturing products and services that are in saturation stage or in decline stage in their own countrey.This is happening because the preference of consumers in those countreys(Countrey of Origin) are changing.The perception of consumers towards those companies in their home country is that its a old product or service.Now when the products and services of any company are in a decline stage in the country of their origin,they prefer to manufacture the product and services in a country which is developing country(like that of India) for the following reasons.
1.High disposable income.
2.A big market where the demand is very high.
Now if a company starts manufacturing products and services in a developing country like INDIA, its product life cycle begins from zero.It means while in the country of origin the product is in declining stage, here it is in the growth stage.So marketers manipulate this opportunity.

Increased economic activity,Higher disposable income,Higher rate of market growth for lifestyle products characterized by increase in standard of living of the middle class,recent growth of infrastructural facilities,easy availability of technical and managerial services at moderate cost etc ....are some of the factors that attract overseas investors in India. |
