i put my name on the do not call list the first day that you were able to put yor name on it but about 4 or 5 days ago i started getting phone calls saying i had filled out a form wanting info on thier services (one was a "vacation info" place and the other was a health insurance company) the vacation place claimed that i had filled out something online or somebody in my hose had filled it out online--i am a single parent an only me and 2 small childern live in my house and i am the only one who uses this computer so i know noone else from my house filled it out PLUS she asked for ME by MY NAME why would someone else fill it out and put my name? the other claimed it was something i had filled out in a doctors office--i havent been to the doctor in over 6 months! i just want to know how to make them stop calling me when my name is already on the do not call list! |

Do you have some ex-boyfriends or girlfriends that are mad at you. Some people love see other people suffer.
Go to the website again and push in your telephone #. I had to do this twice before the calls got blocked. Now sometimes the phone will ring once and then it disconnects. I have caller ID and it will show no data; Tele markers are blocked. |

I had a friend that used to work in a telemarketer's office. When they call again ask them to remove you from their call list. If the try to give you a run-around, ask to speak to a supervisor, and explain that they are legally required to stop calling people that ask to be removed from their lsit. If you get ANOTHER phone call from them, report them (just search online for the govt agency that handles these complaints). They will receive a pretty hefty fine if they continue calling. |

Tell them that you will be reporting them to your Attorney General for harrasment. Ask for their full name and personal phone number. That should do it. |

stuff like this is happening more and more.
there are no penalties for ignoring the do-not-call list.
in addition, sometimes the call is from Asia, where it does not apply.
just ask to be removed.
i always file a complaint, but near as i can figure, it does no good at all. |

You can file a complaint free of charge online at the web address listed below. If these calls started occuring after the 31 day grace period then you have a solid complaint. This is a government operated site so read everything for any vital information that may help you. Good luck.
Also, realize your registration with the "do not call" list can expire and you need to verify when that expiration date is or was and renew. This website can help you with that too. Its very easy to use. I hope this helps. |

when the call again let them know you are on the do not call list and that you are contacting a lawyer because they can be sued for calling you even if you did fill something out if your name is on the list they cant call you. make sure when they call you you get the company name and number. I'm not sure who you would contact though. |
