even though they are dangerous dont they look cute? ...we cant be close to a real bear as its dangerous....whats the use of seeing something soft and not touching it....So to give you an experience of touching a thing which in real like isnt possible they make teddy bears.
the other reason would be its soft texture and cuteness which attracts small children.... |

Because they assume parents are competent enough to teach their kids not to believe the bear dolls are based on real life bears and their behavior, and that bear attacks are rare also plays a role. Also teddy bears a re century old, just about, if not more, they are a long established cultural icon, so they can be produced for that social value. |

Teddy Rosevelt started that whole thing....they were just bears until teddy. But, think of all the other stuffed critters there are......why do they make a stuffed ardvark? They are cute with their butten eyes and give people something to hold on to that won't talk back or hurt them........just as life requires sometimes, i guess. |
