jj | Why do places advertise jobs saying you don't need any qualifications, then say you're not qualified? |
Additional Details Kittyboo_boo= you are a waste of space. You don't know anything about me and just criticise others to make yourself feel better because you are so pathetic. And I'm not sure how people can really judge my personality from a CV...so your answer is really rubbish!

For a start they lie.
Also they probably got a lot of applicants who were more qualifid than they expected.
Some years ago I applied for an internal vacancy twice and didnt get the job. I found out later that they had advertised it before but never awarded the position because the entire procedure was a "training exercise" for Human Resources. |

I know what you mean. I've been trying to get this one really desirable job.... I kept applying to every ad they ran, only to find out that they ALWAYS fill the position from within. Why do they even advertise it, then? |

probably cause the jobs already taken they have 2 advertise 2keep union happy lol |

Or even worse, phone you up to say they have a job they feel you are ideally suited for, and then proceed to tell you why not. Having put 'southern England' as location, I get an email about a job in- wait for it- Edinburgh.
And the ones who say - tell me what you did at *** ? Well hello, I spent 6 months on the wording for that paragraph on my cv - exactly what word or phrase did I use that you don't understand?
Would it be better all round if I just put -'yeah I worked at *** for a while and did some stuff for them.' ? |

Because they gave it to the 5' 8" blonde girlie, and don't want to say so. |

Maybe you should not wear that mask to the interview ......... well suppose that depends on the type of job you go for i guess |

they don't need formal qualifications.
the word 'qualified' doesn't just mean your grades.
By the sounds of it you're not the personality they're after.
Or just too darn thick. |
