Why do some people pay three times the amount for a used item on ebay when they could buy it brand new 4 cheap?
I was just looking for a certain exercise dvd on ebay, i assumed it would be less since it was used, they had a dvd that you can buy from from the actual exercise web page for $9.99 going for over $26!!! with 14 people bidding on it! It is REDICULOUS! Thats not the only thing that goes for wayyy more than if you bought it new. Are people just ignorant!?
I noticed that too. I think it's because they don't want to get outdone as far as bids go, and then they unknowningly enter a 'bid war'. It's kind of silly.

its called laziness or no knowledge of the actual price. I think ppl are so stupid sometimes as well.. i saw nintendo ds's selling for more then they cost at a store with a ppl still bidding.
id also like to add that i hate early bidders...they just keep driving up the damn price!!! i just put stuff on my watchlist and wait till the last minute if not less.

I bought 2 glitter lamps from ebay for around £5 before finding they could be bought for £1 each in poundland. I didn't realise that ebay is sometimes more expensive. Now I've started going to poundland and selling on ebay, and it's quite impressive sometimes the amount of attention a £1 item recieves.
