I consider them a successful product because their market share is so large. |

Personally don't drink it, but would consider any legal product that's been around long than myself; isn't as harmful as tobacco, and still makes profit successful. |

Coke is the best drink ever for its history as a pioneer in advertising. Did you know that Coca-Cola was the first to use coupon (or token) for a free sample to draw customers?
Its 121-year history is teeming with a myriad of excellent case studies of what to do and what not to do in business at the regional, national and international level.
Its advertising has produced some of the most memorable slogans, songs, commercials, icons and images. The image of the Santa as we know was created by Haddon Sundblom who was commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company in 1933. The contour-shaped bottle. "Have a Coke and a Smile!" The Hilltop Commercial with the song "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing." The animated polar bear commercials from 1993 and on.
After all, Coca-Cola is the "Official Beverage of Planet Earth" :) |

Maybe successful? It has grown to big to even recognize. It offers products around the world you can't even begine to imagine. So does Pepsi, owning Gatorade Quaker Oats and Frito-Lay. |

Go anywhere in the world, and i mean ANYWHERE in the world and you will find that they have reached to ALL demographics. You can go the poorest countries in Latin America, and see that they have advertised their product, and completely believed in it. Over a billion people drink it, they like it so that's why it's a successed product. I would like to do something like that one day. |
