Why does custody almost always go to d women,do they love the kids more or can they take care of them better?

This is not always the case, but I agree it happens most of the time.

I think most fathers are happy enough to see their kids every so often, but be left free to see if that other grass is actually greener after all.

Because in our society women are expected to give up career opportunities and social life for the sake of their children, and most of them do. Men are not, and most of them don't.

No. I'm afraid it's usually done to how biased the head bench chappie is, and who's got the best lawyer.

The law and justice are very distant cousins, and they ain't talking to each other.

both parents are needed but you are right the courts always give custody to the mother which is not right she then goes one step further and poisons the kids from the father it happens far to much

now adays it isn't always like that. my 2 sons have custody and my brother has custody. it is sad that mothers don't want to be moms like they use to. custody goes to the most fit parent . if both are fit then the judge gives joint custody

ok--- mother here of two small children . My children's father , who is 36---we were together by the way for 8 1/2 years.....Well , we called it quits almost exactly 9 months ago . He has since paid me approximatley $200.00 to care for our two children . The only time my oldest child speaks to him , is when she calls him. He lives approx. 8 blocks form our house , and never stops by to see either of our children . He will tell my oldest one i will come and see you tomorrow when she calls him crying b/c she misses him so badly . Then when tomorrow rolls around he turns his cell off , so no one can leave any messages . Or , if he does answer he says oh baby i can't Daddy has to work today . Which only hurts her worse.... I have told him , if you don't plan on seeing her , don't tell her that you will !
Does this sound like someone who even gives a **** about thier children ?
The messed up thing is , this is how most men--- love thier children . The Mom will sit there & work two jobs , so that she can buy things for her babies. And the man will not even watch his children , while she is out there trying to support them---b/c he sure as sh-- isn't any help in that department. The mear thought , of him having to give up some of his precious money to help take care of his children---> might just send him into a killing spree. But , he thinks that she should be able to handle it all---all by herself. Never mind , that she is not the one that didn't pull out in time in the first place. Hell , she probably didn't even get to have a freakin' orgasm--- & bamm now she is stuck to take care of your fu-- up for the rest of her life. While you are out fuc-ing some nasty skank hoe.
But , girls rest easy . Because the truth is you got stuck---> with the best things that you were ever gonna get from him...... " Your Kids " And while you get to be around , for all of the cute things that they do--> he is going to miss them all! He will get his you know..... God will not look to kindly on a man who turns his back on his own children ! He won't live easy , in fact sooner or later he will probably try to crawl back to you . Be strong & don't let him ! He fuc-ed up , not you ---> let him pay for all the things that he has done ! Go out and find youself someone that will really love you , and your kids ! Someone who will actually be there for your kids , when they need a man in thier lives. Someone who can be a positive male role model for your children ! If you believe that no man like this exists , and it's true there aren't many good men left.... Go out and find yourself a good **** buddy & forget about relationships for awhile .After all , time between just you and your kids is the most precious ! Don't forget that your children do learn from you. No need to mess them up any more than they already will be , when they realize that not even thier own fathers really wanted them around.

The laws biased in favour of women as mothers.Thats why fathers for justice are making protests about it.Its very sad thats there no equlaity in the law and judges think that men cant look after children.

i am a single Father of four , i could not imagine being without my children . my brother lost hos children at about 33 , he die prematurely from a broken heart at 45 .
A very good friend of mine is a father of five ,his children live about 600 kilometres up the road he is a chronic alcoholic , a binge drinker , become to my place often , and sits for hours just to have the company of my family .
My best friend overdosed on H after his wife left him at 33 .
The courts generally award the children to the mother , because in a society where women are equal , the men have no rights . He is seen as the bread winner , she as the care giver . this is true , women gained equal opportunity at the expense of mens rights . It is no other way .
When one has children , to be free of them is to be selfish .
Any one can father or mother a child , but it takes a Mum and or a Dad to see it through .
Put your heart out to the Fast food dads , the ones you see with their kids on weekends eating Maccas or Hungy Jacks . or at every junior sports event . Every picture tells a story .

my dad got custody of my brother and I... because my mum was in a psychiatric ward... but I wish so bad that I could live with my mum! A teenage girl needs a female role model in her life!

this is not always the case many fathers out there prefer to leave a child with its mother its a very hard situation to be in and the laws are changing all the time i dont think its coz they love the kids more coz i think that fathers love the children just as much and can look after them just as good to alot of fathers work were as some mums prefer to stay home im not sure but this could be a factor in this both parents should be given the same rights

probably because it would be better for a child to grow up with their mother. I mean, they share a bond that the father will never be able to have because the child was in the mother's womb for nine months before even being born! And it also depends on what kind of situation this child will be going home to.If the mom and dad are both capable it will probably result in joint custody.

In my line of work I see a lot of kids who are solely looked after by the mother. 9 out of 10 Kids become little sh#ts. All kids need both parents and if the courts were sensible they would award joint custody. Kids need a father figure as well as a mother figure. Courts award custody generally to the mother as she is the primary care giver. The decisions are normaly devestating to the fathers who become alcoholics, drug users and suicidal. If the courts recognised this we would have less suicide and worse when fathers loose the plot and take it into there own hands. Also I see a lot of women who get out restraining orders to kick out the father. This could be because they have a new man in their life. The family law system stinks. The world is being taken over by feminists
