Why don't people use my website - websiteking.co.uk?

I offer a professional, affordable web design service but have very little custom from the internet. I know I need to get the word out more but the people who are visiting are just not contacting me, why not?

Your own site looks good your portfolio not so good. Your prices are very cheap which I think would raise suspicions. A site I am involved with has been built by designers and so far we have paid 22K approx and there will be more to pay soon.

You get what you pay for and though it is great that you can be affordable maybe you are seen as 'cheap' by those who do actually want a site built for them.

We did a lot of research before going with the group we chose and they were all very even on price so it did not become a deciding factor.

1. Your website is great, i love the colours and the layout and it looks very professional and well thought out but the name is off putting, it doesn't sound professional and sounds more like one of those scam/spam sites.

2. People hate pop ups, especially those that pop up over and over. Get rid of it!

3. Your choices in portfolio aren't very thrilling, all apart from the tattoo artist one are all pretty bog standard, ones that you would normally associate with a template from freewebs. I look at yours and don't see the same commitment to excellence there.

Maybe you could do some more interesting - something more along the standard of your own website as portfolio pieces. If i was looking for a website designer i'd choose you simply on your wown website design. Why can't that same talent be seen in the portfolio pieces??

I love the content and the layout. The Biz has potential.

Problem - there message is not clear and eye grabbing. When I first visited it I was attracted to the 'freebies' part.

Price - imporatant people want to pay for the good they know theyl get - raise the price.
If your main service is giving people affordable web design make that clearer on the first page. And all the other bits of goodies are smaller. or on the bottom page at least. Make clearer and simple what you want people to be attracted to the most. Reduce the italics. That goes at the end. of the service you're talking about.
