In my experience, people just use the free web sites, and other FREE stuff as a "trial run" so they can get more information on how to do something before they go and spend their money on something that they have little to no knowledge about..
I have a few FREE websites that I use to test out my coding experience so I know how to do "a lot" of stuff myself so I will not have to pay some over-priced programmer to do it for me.
I am one of the rare few people that like to do things "on my own".

People like this word because everyone, I mean everyone.. are information junkies. Everyone wants to know something about something. If your product/subject interests them, and you have something that is "free," sure enough, they will jump on it, and if you have links to your site and or products inside the "free report/ebook".. bet your bottom dollar that at least 1 out of 50 will buy something from you.
This is the main reason why there are so many marketers etc. online that offer "free" reports or ebooks just for visiting their websites. They know how it works, and they are putting it to work for "them." They know they will sell something to 1 out of 50, maybe even 1 out of 20 depending on if their product/service is of great value to a particular person.
I could rant on but I will not. Just giving my 2 cents. Congrats on the topic though. I liked this. |

because the media and politicians pander to weakness in humans .
most guys don't want a 'free' girl
nor do gals want a 'free' man.
but when it comes to money people believe in free this and that.
they want quality and expect free.
politicians propagate the plantation mindset to the lower class.
sort of like eating the 'seed stock' for next years crops. |

They believe all the hype and don't really research the opportunity. They also don't realize that they have to treat these things as an actual small business. |

People are cheap. They figure they can get something for nothing.
Free, Save, No Money Down, Reduced, all attract attention because people 'think' they are actually getting something. Buy 4, get 1 free... don't need the 4, but at least I get 1 Free.
If you have to invest, then people think it is a scam. The second half of the answer:

usually because nobody really likes purchasing online. theirs alot of risks and especially with small websites it can easily be a scam. plus you have to do all this pay pall thing and it takes forevor is the way people see it. |

thanks for the word "free". the psychology of human work here some body thinking just for look at these sites for time pass. and a little curiosity. second one trying earning money without any loose their money.by chance if some websites work really they may be invest some money. at last many sites are just scamming type. who like waste their money in this sites. but when really worked sites are meet them they must invest at them the human wants earn money from first free and really invest them later.

I wish I knew the answer to that. I am in Advertising. I cannot tell you how many people I run into on a daily basis that
A) Think they are entitled to a large discount OR
B) Think they deserve free!
Since when was advertising free (at least a good media)? The last time I checked Advertising was a vehicle to build your business and increase sales.
Why do people expect something for nothing? We will never know.
I consider it a good day when I have met with a client that truly see's the value in advertising/marketing their business.
The people that do not see value in advertising and marketing their business are typically the ones that go out of business. |

Under the Hillary and Obama plan the lower and middle classes get tricked into believing they will get all kinds of stuff free and the rich will pay for it.
In reality Hillary and Obama will tax the working poor and the middle class into near poverty to pay for government programs that actually benefit the wealthy, in that they get richer from these programs and everyone else gets the royal shaft. |
