I won't as I associate ebay (now) with cheap stuff and bad after sales service, if any at all. i have bought expensive goods from ebay, but its been a calculated risk and mainly because I didn't want to pay the retail prices I found. |

I think the people who are paying full price probably can't get the item anywhere in their area, esp. if they are living in another country, which is where, I suspect, most of the people who buy the stuff live. Most retailers will not ship out of the country. |

Depends on what it is, but then also depends on how much the shipping costs.
I personally don't shop on line unless I can not find it local as the local shops don't cost so much for the shipping costs, and when all is said and done, local is cheaper than online even when online costs less on the main price because the shipping is higher. |

It depends on how bad the people want the quality product. I have known some who have paid more for a unique must have product way beyone their "full price" estimate. |

People go on e-bay to look for bargains or for rare items not easily found elsewhere. If you are charging full price, don't expect many takers |

It depends on the item and the demand for it. Just think about how much people pay above retail price for hard to find gaming systems. |

Only if I really, really like it. If the store owner doesnt have the same or similar items on auction. And if I cant find it or anything similar anywhere else cheaper. Also it has to be fairly unique or really good quality, otherwise I wouldnt bother and I would just go to a regular store.
But thats just me. I'm a penny saver. |
