Additional Details
i am about ready to revamp my site in the next day or so as time permits.
I do appreciate all the suggestions and will implement all of them that are practical.
Since I mainly use existing links and Favorites for navigation to my site though, I am afraid I will just limp along with Tripod until I can start generating more money.
I will pick a best question at the end of the day and after fixing my site, I hope you watch for my next request so you can see your many suggestions in action.

It is simple and to the point. I like that. In fact my site is set up quite simply as well. However, I might suggest you turn off the pop-ups and get rid of the personal non business related information from the front page. It seems unprofessional. Also, you might want to add a bit of color to the background. It seems dismal.
The information you provide is good. It doesn't burden the reader with a lot of useless information or sales jargon. But I would recommend that you follow a simple format my college writing professor taught: tell them what you are going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you told them. It got me a lot of "A"s in college writing that way, even in other subjects.

If you really want to give a profesional impression to your visitors, then please get a domain name and some cheap webhsoting.
Free websites are good for personal websites but not for businesses.
Your site has too much text. Please use short paragraphs with some headings. |

Too many words and there's no purpose for the personal information. All visitors want to know is your credentials. I would use a white background, on black text to start. Get rid of the clip art graphics. You want a streamlined theme for your page, that illustrates professionalism.
You might want to look around for sites that have nice templates. I myself like http://www.bravenet.com because their choices of templates online are very nice, easy to edit through a wizard, and the site includes tons of services that integrate into your site.
Its all free and you can upgrade later to something more professional. |

Put your personal (i.e wife's pictures) content in a separate page. |

I disagree. It is simple but it reads easy. The colors stand out nicely against the background and the reader doesn't get lost reading it because it flows well. Also, it doesn't have distracting clip art or bombard you with links that take you in circles. My only criticism is it is a bit bland. Also, for not much money you could get a real URL associated with it which will be easier to remember than a tripod address. |
