Never! Celebrities suck. Oh, and companies don't see it as wasting money, because they are smart enough to know there are enough shallow people in this world to make them all rich.

no way as its blantly obvious a celebrity would use it unless it was pepsi its just a marketing technique to make us buy a product and it just doesnt work |

Absolutely not - I think I am old enough and wise enough to know that celebs don't really endorse the brands - they just are onto a nice little earner |

No, the quality of the item and its usage and possibly the price would be the only things that I would consider when purchasing something. |

this isnt my field, so i dont know how accurate i am, but from my perspective the reason why celebs are payed to advertise stuff is so that u remember it and give it credability ''if she is puttin her name on it, it must be decent'' that sort of thing |

Absolutely not. The best products sell themselves by word of mouth advertising. Im more likely to buy something if someone I know has recommended it.
The fact that a product needs a celebrity to market it suggests that the product is weak and overpriced |

Well if there are two products that are the exact same price and quality then yeah, it would make a difference if a celeb promoted it. |

not likely unless possibly if it's a celebrity who is my role model
companies don't waste money, some people do buy things because of celebrities |

I only use it if I need it! |

It always puts me off but I am sure a lot of people fall for it. I find it so negative if a well-known actor endorses, say , a financial product or a nutrition product. It just says to me that the product is suspect if someone has to "act" its endorsement. It makes it doubly unbelievable! |

you feel like you know a celebrity and therefore trust them |

Why lie, *** on, i read some comments and i can't believe there are so many lies in them.. everybody has an idol, an inspiration or a HERO, so when products are being advertised by their name, their loved ones definetely would want to BUY the product or maybe have the taste of it depending if you have the money to do so otherwise you still may have the desire to know about the product...
for me i would jump for it if my hero is advertised with something!!

yes! i will give you 1 of my marketing secret's. think of it this way how many people try to market them self's and are unsuccessfull LOTS RIGHT! well look at it this way how many celeb's market them self's and blow up? think of it this way say i wanted to sell makeup (wich i dont) but lets say i do and in my description i add many people such as toni braxton, christina agulera, and britney spear's prefer my makeup. people will see the description and spread the word that even toni, christina and britney prefer this brand......... so what happens now the word keeps spreeding wich leads more traffic to your site wich = more sales its a marketing thing and it works |
