This website is great for web advertising. It's a free targeted advertising (based on you selecting various categories you would like to be included in) and link exchange network. You put other websites text ads on your page and yours appears on others. And it really is 100% free, forever. While it's not something that guarantees traffic it also doesn't cost anything, so why not try it?

Despite the critics, I know exactly how you feel. A little friendly advice. A better way to ask this question would be "Does anybody have any ideas on how to advertise my website?" And then you can list it in you elaboration of your question.
I specialize it advertising and I know what your going through, but begging for traffic will not help you. You need to be confident and let others know what you have to offer.
I can help you advertise correctly and more efficiently though. I have a blog all about advertising ideas that are either free (which most of these ideas are) or very inexpensive with varied amounts of effort. You can visit my blog at: http://www.squidoo.com/workathomefree
In the meantime, here are a few ideas to get you started:
1. Write and submit articles to the article directories.
2. Leave comments on other people?s blogs with a backlink to your site.
3. Answer people?s questions on www.answers.yahoo.com.
4. Post in forums and have a link to your site in your signature.
5. Write a press release and submit it to www.PRWeb.com.
6. Advertise your website in the appropriate category on www.CraigsList.com.
7. Give an unbiased testimonial on a product/service that you have used in exchange for a backlink to your site.
8. Start a blog and submit it to the 100?s of free blog directories.
9. Manually submit your website to the major search engines.
10. Optimize each page of your website for a particular keyword or search phrase.

This is NOT a question worthy of answering HOWEVER, you would be best advised to:
1) learn how to produce a website worthy of traffic... what are you offering and why is your information important to anyone? I did not see anything that attracted me to explore further.
2) learn how to advertise and promote in an ethical and responsible manner like anyone else who is marketing online. There are many ways to market without paying a cent for it ... there is value in free ... but YOU have to do the work. Do not rely on other people to do it for you or you'll get what you deserve... nothing. |
