I am putting together a business plan to start a company that will offer low cost lads golfing breaks in Spain. I have looked at quite a few sites and the cost can be very expensive. I just want to ...

...your insurance company because you thought their advertising was exceptionally cool? Few would deny that the Geico ads are clever, especially the one with the caveman at the airport backed by the snappy music "Remind Me" by Royksopp. But, is that enough to cause people (you?) to pick up the phone and move your account? Inquiring minds want to know!
They may not change right away. However, when they have a problem with the current provider they will remeber the ad because it was so catchy.

No, for the insurance company to get my business they half to show me everything in black and white on paper. I also make my decision on the quote that they give me on the vehicle and for my age. That's like Allstate is making all of these claims now to get more business. I have family members that use Allstate because they are the best and offer so much. The catch is that Allstate is so high and they have hidden fees.

Nope I wouldn't change it just because of that. I still think insurance companies are a scam but you have to have it or you get screwed when you really need it.

You can't get Geico in my state, but the advertisements are ALL OVER the television! They wouldn't be enough for me to make a switch, although I'm sure I know a few people where a catchy jingle suffices as better information than debate with insurance adjusters. And people say music isn't influential!

No, don't be daft. Who wants to pay more money just becoz some cool ad/music is associated with a co. name?? There would have to be some real benefits to moving companies ie. money saving offers. Ins is expensive enough these days without willingly paying more money for a bit of street cred.

I'd be wary about making any changes that has anything to do with financial matters, especially when the reason behind it is cool advertising. i would, instead, have a heart to heart, objective talk (with all my questions prepared) with the agent, read the fine print, and make sure i'm not getting scammed. beware of false or exagerrated advertising.
