Would you look in the yellow pages or on-line search if you need electrical repairs to your home or business?
I am increasing my advertising budget and trying to find the best way to spend it. More often (it seems) people are searching on-line for everything. But I am not sure if that applies to electrical repairs/upgrades to homes and businesses. Thank you for your input.
I would definately go first to www.yellowpages.com.
Tip: I noticed that some companies in the yellow pages have a tag line after their name. I assume the tag line costs more; but I honestly think it is a worthy expense. I always click on the ones with the tag lines first - especially if they reference high quality in their service. A sample tag line for you would be, "Get a free estimate from the experts."

Yellow pages should be first.

I would look in yellow pages for local businesses and I use the Internet A LOT for all kinds of things. I would vote for either local yellow pages or other local ads..

I use both, why narrow your search. The wider the search the better your results will be.
However, my first choice is the Yellow Pages. It's quick and available.
Only if I don't find what I need in the Yellow Pages, do I jump on to the computer and Google Search.

I would think of the yellow pages first.

Yellow Pages...I work for an advertising agency and we looked into advertising on-line vs. The Yellow Pages for some of our clients and we found that it was not worth the price to advertise on-line. The Internet advertises more nationally than locally so the cost was much more expensive and you really only need to advertise to local prospective customers.

I would look at the yellow pages first and then look online. Did you know that you can advertise locally at Google?
