I have been looking at a new website that is about to launch in september. its offering a full page business profile on their site under a particular business catagory from as little as 49p a day £15 a month
I have see loads of listing site but this one has a unique offer it alows you to change your profile when ever you like run offrers and promotions and upload pictures, power point presentations business video introductions. links straight through to google maps so people can see where your based.
They currently get 40,000 + hits a month and there not launched until september and have done very little promotion apart from word of mouth.
What do you think, i havent seen anything of this nature that gives my business the flexability to change my profile in an instant promoting my business to the general public |

Do you run this website or something? Sounds to me like you are selling it, and if you aren't you have clearly sold it to yourself.
Just setup your own website which will allow you to be as flexible as you like, then register with google adwords. |

I find that hard to beleive ... but that's more like to promo figures.
Theres a site that does just about the same maybe even better using their Gold level for £34.99 a year and prices starting from a FREE listing.. check out the site http://tradersreview.co.uk
They also do charity listing for FREE so anyone that knows a charity or none profit cause can get a webpage free, a friend of mine uses the site for her dog recuse charity. |

when its so easy to create a webpage these days, why bother? Sites like these do not tend to be popular for the potential customer who would prefer a more direct web site and not one listing loads of other names. with your own website anyhow, you have more flexibility because you are responsible for it and can change whatever you like, when you like. |

You don't say what your business is...does it need all those features such as changing prices, etc or does it just more or less stay as it is...such a plumbing business, etc...if it does change then it seems worth it...if it doesn't then it sound expensive....Got our own site up and running for less than £400 with an enterprise Grant, and costs us £70 a year to maintain, has new photos added, new comments and prices.
I would say try and get your own site...or you may become lost in the crowd.....edit what your business is...I could send you a link. |
