Square pizza are harder, to make, they toss the dough and get a round shape.
Round boxes are much harder and more expensive to make. Plus I think if you had a round pizza box it would roll around in your car more. |

box nowadays means a rectangular container, so when the pizza company orders boxes they expect to recieve definitely squire boxes,lol |

it is not that necessary to have the same shape of the container having the same apperance of its contents. hehehehe!!!!!!!!!!! |

actually i've seen square pizza in square box and round pizza in round box.. but the cost of that is higher |

Pizza boxes do not come already put together. The pizza shop employees have to assemble them and the box manufacturers have to make and deliver them. If you think about these things, is it really reasonable to think about a round box? How would one put together a round box? Also, pizzas can all come out slightly different in size and if you had a circular box, every pizza might not fit. |
