I don't believe anyone has a right to dictate what a woman should or shouldn't do with her body, including governments or churches. Adoption is an option too, but having an abortion does NOT make you a bad person. If anyone were being honest, they'd admit there is already too many people around today anyway, so creating another child to put into the system just doesn't seem like all that great a solution.
And my daughter was born Nov 26th 2003, and her mom and I split up a year ago, and were never married. And I sleep just fine, knowing that the only reason my daugther is alive today is because her mom and I decided to give it a shot. So I have all the right to be pro-choice I want. :P
OK, I had to edit this after all the god-freaks started going off. Where the hell do you people get off preaching to people or passing judgement? Didn't your god say Judgement is Mine? Well, practice what you preach, you ignorant, hypocritical, blind fools. If we want to believe what you do, we'll join your cult. And as for those of you who quote morality, who's to say your moral stance is the right one? Morally speaking, the muslims think all the women in the US need to be covered head to toe at all times, be completely subsurvient to the men in their lives, and do as their told, NO QUESTIONS. To do otherwise is immoral in their culture. So you can take your 'moral' arguement, and choke on it, because its all a matter of personal perception.
So anyone who can't support their arguement without a moral or religious basis has no business posting it, or is just being ignorant, or spouting off what they've been trained to like the good little lemmings they are. |

If you are not prepared to have a child, then you should not have one. IF you are not able to support your baby financially or emotionally, you could be harming it in the long run. Many children that result from unwanted pregnancies, become cutters, get into drugs and alcohol and gangs, and some even go to consolors because they feel unloved and unwanted. don't put your child in that situation. don't force yourself to be a mother if you are incabale or unqualified. children should be wanted and welcomed into the world.. into families where there are 2 capable parents who are finacially and emotionally prepared for the responsibilites of being a parent
and if you want the christian view of this. If you kill the fetus, i believe that it will go to heaven, which if it is unloved and unwanted.. heaven might just be the better place for it |

Theres always the option of adoption. I think if a woman has that many plans for her future and kids arent part of that then she would've thought about birth control. The woman has plans for the future but what about the babys future? It is really fair to not give that baby a chance at having one? Theres so many couples out there that are really good people that want babies but for medical reasons cannot on their own. Give the baby up for adoption. Give him or her a future to look forward to as well. |

No. Don't get one, even though she has plans for her life. You can still have plans for your life and have a baby.
Give birth to the baby and give it up for adoption. There are people out there who would love to have kids, but can't, so they adopt. It is not the baby's fault that person made a mistake!

ooohhh that's a touchy subject there. I would say no because that will be a selfish act to have an abortion just because the person is only thinking about her plans. I would say yes if the pregnancy poses a serious health risk. I feel this question being bombarded by religious fanatics but think so that person should think about it really well because the majority of the answer she'll get is no in here. |

nope..there's never a reason for abortion..even if she's got plans for the future..there're lots of other ways to handle the situation..worse a woman should do in such a situation is to give the child away to a couple that probably had waited years to get a child..just not lucky enough yet!~
