I learned from my mistakes and now feel I have the ability to help others avoid what I went thru, so here it is:
I used Quicken (most likely the same as QuickBooks) it was brain free, and easy to set up and get running, I did payroll and invoices, it lets you set up and print everything you need to run a business, I hope when you get the business going you will hire an accountant, this will help with the taxes. Uncle Sam likes his money upfront. Oh and one thing, pay your employees first. and then your supplies and then yourself. When I started out I was eating hotdogs as they were eating steaks. But after the first few months were over, it all evened out |

I highly recommend the Accounting Program "Simply Accounting" It is very easy to use and keeps track of payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. It also has a help line who will guide you until you are use to the program. I knew nothing about accounting until was promoted to a new position and I had to learn everything, I took a one day course when I started and I assure you if I could learn it and do a great job then anyone can. I was up and running my company's finances within one week. I embraced the program, trusted it and have done very well for my company. It was easy to learn and easier to use. I suggest this is the "one" to go with. Our company is quite small, only four employees but hundreds of customers and everyone is happy with our outcome. Good Luck, I just know you will do well with all your accounting responsibilities with Simply Accounting. |
