no, you are not screwed. people make mistakes. einstein was not a star pupil. and besides...the law school will probably take into account your academic history, test scores and community involvement before they give credence to a typo. besides...how do they know that english isn't your 2nd language or someone else didn't mail it off for you?

It depends on the strength of the rest of your admissions packet and the competitiveness of the program. As an office manager, I'll toss resumes from "detail oriented" applicants who make errors on their resumes. Especially if the rest of the resume is less than stellar and I have a glut of applicants. You may want to consider sending an update....

Then hopefully the person will miss the title:
I think they are going to be looking at everything together as a package. if you have solid A's, scored well on the LSAT, and made a tiny spelling mistake, I think your chances are still OK. Its not going to break you or make you. |
