Why on earth when you get a packet of biscuits with a tear strip... is the tear strip glued down while the packet to either side of it is loose?

The tear slip is glued down eventhough the packet to either side of it is lose because it helps us to tear the cover more systematically and easily without any hassle.

If there isn't an obvious place for a person to tear then they get all confused. The tear strip is for the ones who psycologically need it.

machines dont care how a human is going to open it only that it gets glued together
I personally hate those "easy open" packets 8/10 times they arent easy open at all unless you do what I do and use sissors
