O.K. first hand experience here, Chris and i set sail in three ships, after being on the big water for about 2 months, the ships started breaking up and Chris said "Look, that's American wood" i said "Chris the ships are breaking up on us." About that time the guy in the crows nest said "LAND" We got real close to the shore and could see the native Americans celebrating "Not have been discovered yet day", with beer and pizza, then this fine looking little indian girl came running out to the water's edge and said "What are ya'll doing coming around here in those ships", Chris said "We come to discover ya'll, America" she said "y'all need to discover your butt away from here" But, we went ashore and smoked the peace pipe (good stuff), eat pizza and drank some beer with the native Americans, I tried to tell the chief, "Hey when thay start talking about reservations, they ain't talking about no motel man.", but he act like he didn't hear me. That's the way it was back in 1492, just a few short years ago.*** |

Columbus made the American continents known to the European continent, where they thought there were no other things. So, if you send a ship out to space and you find a new planet with other people on it, you have "discovered" a new planet for your own planet, although that planet was already there with people on it. |

Only him for the Spanish. What was worst is he wasnt even looking for America, he was looking for another route to Asia.
There are maps that the Vikings have of the some of the US eastcoast much earlier than Columbus.
There is even evidence that the Phoenicians have been here. Some of their coins and artifacts have been here.
The only people that have not made it here before Columbus are Jews. The Mormon history will have to find something else because there is no evidence of Jews ever being here. |

Because he allowed the rest of the world to come here, I know it sounds messed up. Tell me this, if Christopher hadn't of found this land, would you be living here? |

Christopher Columbus was a joke. He didn't really do anything. The Native Americans was already living here, so he didn't discover anything!!!! |

He didn't, the American Indians discovered him. He was just sitting there in his boat, and lo and behold all these Indians came up on him. Then they made him sign the Declaration of Independence. Afterwards, he travelled to the moon with them. Things were going well until he was exiled to Elba after starting the Renaissance. Some time later, he was almost beheaded for marrying King Henry VIII. After his love affair with Hitler, he shot JFK. |
