Any encounters with ghosts?

If you've had any encouters with ghosts I'd like to hear about it, I'm doing a poll for school.

well, when I was still living at my parents, I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. on the way back to my room my cat roady was walking next to me. when I got to my bed I realized that it couldn't have been roady. we had to put him to sleep the year before.
another happened almost a year ago. I was in my apartment, and I was reading in bed. my cat bubbah ran past my door like he always did. then I realized that it couldn't have been him, because I had given him away 3 weeks earlier. so that was how I found out that bubbah had died.
this one actually does not have to do with a deceased pet! when I was still in my parents house, I saw an old guy standing in the hall on my way to the bathroom at about 3 in the morning. so I turned on the hall light and he was gone. it really creeped me out. after that I always had the feeling that someone was watching me, and it was a bad feeling. to this day I get that feeling whenever I am at my parents house after dark.

When I was in high school we moved into a house that definitly had more than it's fair share of paranormal activity.

The first thing that happened was right after we moved in. My mother and I were up late and my younger three siblings were all bunking in one of the downstairs bedrooms whilst we finished arranging the upstairs rooms. Anyway, we're sitting in the livingroom when we hear kids running and playing upstairs, so, thinking that my younger sibs had snuck upstairs to play, mom sends me up to get them back downstairs and back into bed. Up I went, to find the upstairs (it was a finished attic space) completely dark and empty. I turned on all the lights, checked the closets, etc. but didn't find anything so went back downstairs.

I no sooner got back down to the livingroom than the noise started up again and now mom is mad at me because she's thinking that I didn't even go look for the kids upstairs. So, up I went again, and just like before, I got up there and it was dark and quiet. I double checked all the closets, etc. and still nothing. I went back down to the livingroom and the same thing happened...the sounds of the kids running overhead, playing and laughing. This time before I went running back upstairs, I went to the downstairs bedroom where the kids were supposed to be sleeping and found them all tucked in and happily snoring away...no explanation for the noise upstairs.

We lived in that house for more than 10 years and in that time we all experienced disembodied whispers, things moving of their own accord, lights switching on and off, etc. Once, a friend of my mom's was visiting and we were telling her some of the strange things that had been going on and she acted as though we were crazy, telling us that there were no such things as ghosts and that it was our imagination. She happened to be sitting on the floor at the time and when she said that, vhs movies off of a nearby shelf began to 'pop' off the shelf, one at a time, and they landed in a perfect semi-circle around her friend.

That was one creepy place.

Yeah remember what I told you I saw at your house that one time? No I didn't think so. Well I did. I saw I ghost. Boo-yah.

Well in my new house I hear abunch of whispers all at once, then they just go away. It has happened a couple of times......very disturbing. And I'm pretty sure the longer I stay there, the more I will hear/see.

Well.. I Can't tell you.

I was at my ex's house, and he's always said that there were ghost in his house. So one night, I was sleeping over and the stairs going to his room started sqeaking like someone was walking up them. Since every stair did have it's own sound, it was really friggen creepy. So I was like wide eyed, just waiting, and I could see this shadow standing in his door way..so scary..I guess when I told my b/f in the morning, he said I was lucky, because the ghost usually went into his room and sat on his bed...Ok, I am getting freaked just talking about it...*shivers*

i saw your mom does that count

we have a ghost in our bathroom. a little girl named Marquis drowned in the bath tub 2 years ago

Glad to say that i haven't had any.

no but i do think they are real
so keep a good look out for them

i think i saw a ghost before it was orbish and floating in the air that time i was in bed and i needed to go to the br
