Feedback is not a mandatory action that a buyer must comply to. Just move on and be grateful that the buyer finished the transaction in good grace. |

Come on– get over it. They're not required to. One user doesn't and you think it's worth worrying about all this time? |

Feedback is voluntary. Some folks choose not to participate. I am one of them.
Let it go. If you continue to ask for feedback, you just might end up with a big red donut |

It seems to me feedback is not a requirement. Push them and you will get a negative report. |

Some people just aren't really that bothered, their lives are too busy to leave a constant blogging stream online. They probably don't use the internet that much, simply made a purchase on ebay and assumed that was the end of it. Not everyone is that experienced on the world wide web. I think you need to get over it, it's not the end of the world. |

They don't have to give feedback. Maybe there experience was as wonderful as you think it was. |

I think people forget. Or they don't log back on to even see the reminder. I wait until I receive the product to leave feedback! |

Some people don't like giving feedback. In all honesty, just be happy that they didn't leave a negative review. Definitely don't keep messaging them, because that may make them give feedback, but you might not like it. |

Did you ever stop to think that maybe something horrible happened to that person in between the time they got your package and needing to leave feedback.
Cut your loses and be glad you didn't get a negative feedback |

Humm I have been on both sides of that fence more than once.
If they don't leave feedback how do you know no problem existed.
I always wait until I have USED the item before I do and sometimes for a week or two.
I have left buyer feedback more than once because I got it and it didn't work at all. Sometimes I just don't leave feedback if I believe the seller sold in good faith but it didn't work because it ISN'T any good to me.
I bought a digital camera adaptor for China and at another time beads.
The adaptor didn't work at all. I left feedback before I used it and couldn't even alert others. Seller wouldn't do anything at all.
Paypal said too late but it took that long to get here.
Also paid for moldavite beads and what I got I haven't figured out yet. Not even moldavite quartz.
So much for that. Sometimes buyers leave unfair feedback for sure.
Unless I am sure it is deserved I just don't leve feedback on some items. On E-bay for the last 7 years as buyer and seller.
Best wishes. |

The thing you have to remember is that selling stuff on eBay is like a business. While every business owner would love to get feedback from all their customers, that simply isn't going to happen.
Most companies that get 15-25% of their "surveys" back consider that a successful rate. Mainly take pride in the ones that do rate you. |

Maybe they haven't been online in order to leave it...they'll get to it eventually; there's no time limit. |

I don't always leave feedback.
If I am pleased I do.
If I am not happy I just don't say anything.
Like eating at a restaurant.
You don't always leave a big tip.
You don't always complain to the Manager.
Sometimes you just do nothing. |

this is incredible you are getting this annoyed over this...this is the customer's decision wether he wishes to leave feedback or not. Plus Im sure a lot of people do leave feedback, so no need to get frustrated just beacause a few people dont do it :s |

That is an optional feature of eBay. You can not compel someone to do anything like that. If you annoy him enough he might post a false bad feedback so be careful.
When you go into Walgreen's lately the sales slip has a little note on it asking you to take a survey on how good the service was during your purchase. They even have a drawing for a prize among those who respond. But they still don't get a lot of answers. It is the same kind of thing. |

As an eBay power seller for over 7 years the ONLY way to do this is to email the buyer and let them know that you are more than happy to leave feedback for them once you have received confirmation that they have received the package and all is well. As well if you artfully tell them that leaving feedback for you is an integral part of your feedback for them then I am sure they will understand.
As for making them leave you feedback their is nothing you can do I have sold well over 10k items on eBay and I still only get feedback 1 in 5 sales a fact I have learned to get over. |

Some people don't use Ebay enough to even know how to give feed back.
Really It took me awhile to figure out how to give feed back.
Some people know so little about a computer you are lucky they can make a order or maybe someone else did it for them. |

I wouldn't want to hassle em to much they may leave the wring feedback. Typically people who are really happy leave Good Feedback right away. |

There is nothing you can do. It works the same in both directions. There is also nothing that a buyer can do if a seller refuses to leave feedback. You'll just have to live with it.
I will say this...and pehaps it will at least help you let go of the frustration you're feeling. Try to remember that since we're all anonymous on ebay, you have no way of knowing why the person isn't responding to you. I once failed to pay for an item I had won, and went on ebay to discover I had been left negative feedback and had gotten a non-payment violation. In reality I had been dealing with a family crisis, as my mother had had a heart attack and then a double bi-pass. I was dealing with that and hadn't so much as thought about ebay in weeks. So, just remember that it doesn't have to be an act of defiance or bad manners. People have real lives and may be dealing with things far more important than giving us one extra feedback point. Try not to take it all so seriously. |

There's no law that you must leave feedback. It's a courtesy, and sometimes people just don't think about it. They paid and they got what they wanted and that's the deal. Most people will leave it. The few who don't aren't going to make any difference. I have never written anyone to ask for feedback. When I send their order I say "If you are pleased, let me know through feedback" but sometimes I don't even do that. |

Sometimes when I buy something from eBay I forget about it after my product comes. Not that big of a deal to me. |

Forget it, if it really bothers you that much don't sell to them again. You can't force someone to leave feedback if they are too lazy/ignorant to do so. It is pretty much standard practice and has become convention to leave positive feedback where appropriate and so does come across as quite rude when people don't, but it is not compulsory. |

There is nothing you can do. Just accept that you no everyone will leave feedback. Most people who buy on ebay will not leave feedback until they get the item. And by then they either forget, have a stressful lifestyle (I am a single mother, work 2 jobs, and go to school), or have another reason. Besides, I would rather that they leave no feedback than a bad one. |

Maybe they don't have regular internet connection. It could be someone who logged in from a friend's house or something like that... I wouldn't worry about it. |

It is annoying I agree. I dont know why it bothers me, and I am the buyer, I pay immediatly as I see I won, the longest that ever took was about six hours max! I did my part, no feedback from a few people. I have had sellers include a note with a candy cane on it to request me to leave feedback too!! It means alot to sellers, hopefully they will take care of it soon. |

Leaving feedback is voluntary. Neither person in the transaction has to leave it. If they don't leave you feedback, don't leave any for them. It's as simple as that. |
