doublewidemama | Are left-handed people the only ones in their right minds? |
Additional Details only a couple days LEFT to answer

Well, I use both hands, but I use my left hand 98% of the time. My dad is also left handed, the rest of my family is right handed. My dad and I have always been very logical and plan things out, while the rest of my family tends to be more sporadic.
But since I'm a lefty I think I am obligated to agree ;-) |

Two brain halves means twice the fun.
Actually being left handed does mean that a person spends more time using the right half of the brain. I do not know if that means being in their right mind or not. If so, then being ambidextrous is like changing your mind all the time. |

Leftys are more extreme than the general population. As a group, not individually, there is a greater incidence of genius, athleticism, creativity, and mental health issues than in the more common right-handed population. There are lots of other differences too. BTW not all left handed people are right brain dominant. Some have mixed dominance and some have cross dominance. |

Lets see, there was TedBundy<JohnGacy<ZodiacKiller,
CharleyManson,GreenRiverKiller, and DickChaney all famous lefthanders so i guess so HUH. |

Left handed people have always seemed more gentle to me. My daughter and I are both left handed. I have also heard that lefties die approximately 7 years before a right-handed person. |

I'm ambidextrous. What about that? |

Technically yes. They're also more likely to have reading problems as children. |

Yes, absolutely. And not only that, the percentages of geniuses that are left-handed is much greater that those who are right-handed. All ambidextrous people are left-handed. And just think about the natural world. Most of the great explorers were left handed. Heck, the only reason there are so many right-handed people in the world is due to the fact it takes 10 right handed people to accomplish what 1 left-handed person is capable of. |

yes right handed people use the left side of the brain |
|

discruntledbunghole
|
no actually us right handed people feel just the opposite. |
|

Isabel
 |
No. Studies have shown that 95% of right handed people use their 'left mind' predominantly (compared to 66% of left-handed people), leaving 5% of right-handers being in their 'right mind' and 33% of lefthanders either being in their 'right mind' (or in both minds...)
Therefore, I guess I'm saying that left-handed people are not the only ones in their 'right minds', but they are certainly more likely to be! :-)
Note- there is no such thing as right minded and left minded, only lateral representations of certain functions such as language |

Okay, no there is nothing wrong with left-handed people; this is a right-hander's world bc of George Washington, the very first president: He was full-on right-handed PERSON, not just physically right-handed. And bc he was a very powerful man, and people sought out to follow a man of first-hand power regardless of beliefs since left-handed Abraham Lincoln came along and made peace out of the slavery deal. I'll tell you the differences between a Right-handed PERSON and a just physically right-handed person: the wallet; which back pocket you put it in; if it's your left then wut do you have to say, bc when you see a left-handed person, ask which one they put theirs in and compare. Same for how you shoot a rifle: if you're right-handed but you have to shoot left-handed, do the pose of how you shoot, and put your left hand to your left eye and do the trigger-pulling motion with your index finger and think about it. How you cross your arms is another determination: the arm that goes under the other one bc your naturally predominant hand is always gonna be the stronger one in life no matter wut. How you play pool; billiards is another: the hand you put at the butt-end of the stick to push it forward to knock the balls in the holes, bc it's your stronger one. The hand you hold the phone up to the same ear with bc that's your better ear, and you reach forward for it with that hand. The hand you reach forward with and feed yourself with regardless of your more coordinated hand, like something you hold up with a stick and feed yourself with like a popsickle, lollipop, or corndog; watch a left-handed person and compare yourself to them if you have to use your left hand for those types of things, but think you are a full-on right-handed person, but have to do those little things left-handed. If there is left-handed people in this right-handed world then that has to mean that thy're the only ones in their right mind bc they focus on themselves from birth and pick up the pencil with their left hand rather than observing and unwittingly following everybody else they see bc they're in their right mind. There has to be a left-handed world completely parrallel to this one; that would make perfect sense for fate period; You look at a full-on right-handed PERSON and put a full-on left-handed person in front of each other, there is NO difference between the 2: just completely parrallel worlds to each other. What about the whole other galaxy with the planet orbitting that star exactly like earth does to the sun that they were talking about on the news a while back??? i wonder? |
