Indian | Are men really concerned???? |
Their wives take the pains for 9 months, their wives cut open their bodies and they put their sibblings in the hands of their husbands and the husbands take these sibblings out and show to the rest of the world as if they have done a great job, and the world congratulates the husbands first. What kind of logic is this???? |

First of all, sibling means brother or sister, so I think you mean offspring. Anway, I agree, women should get way more credit and recognition for the accomplishment and hard work put into creating a healthy baby. My wife had gestation diabeties and had to give up a lot of foods she loved to make sure she had a healthy baby and safer birth. And my son turned out practically perfect. 9.9 on the APGAR. She also gave up smoking "cold turkey" the week she found out she was pregnant. I'm so proud of her! |

Well, there is no doubt about the pain wife undergoes to produce a baby! That’s the reason, mother is considered as visible god in Indian mythology!
Coming to taking the credits of what fathers do! Usually fathers are more proactive. This is the nature of men. But things are changing! In most of the cities, moms go around places with kids in their dads absence. Men do care (both wife and kids) |

You look like a mom who has just given birth to a child and felt discriminated when people congratulated her husband. Even if my guess is wrong, I want you to be sure that if someone congratualtsd your husband on his new child while you are in labor you will not feel discriminated, at least because you love your husband and it will never occur to you to care about who will be congratulated first. Only a thick, child-minded woman would think this way. |

If that's what's been happening to you, then I apologize on behalf of all men, because that should not be happening. |

Maybe it's because the father has done so little to bring the child into the world that his insecurity steps in. But I do see a few advantages to what you describe: 1. it gives the new mother a chance to rest; 2. it gives the new father an opportunity to bond with his child and take him or her out into the world. I know when the women in my family have babies, what they would do almost anything for is to sleep, and have some of the awesome responsibility of it all off their shoulders and breasts for a little while. I don't think they begrudge this time with the father.
See, no one has any illusions about who suffered through the pregnancy and birth, so it isn't a matter of denying the mother's role so much as it is an exercise in trying to increase the father's in a productive way that helps introduce the child to the community. |

absolutely none, woman should get 99% of the credit for childbirth, and a man should not have any say in the abortion issue either. Yes I am a man. |

This question has to be put to the creator for designing human bodies in that fashion.
Coming to the second part of the question, the world congratulating a wrong person, is not totally true , there are men who are concerned too, towrads their wives, world is not full of bad people |

Sounds like feminine logic. You actually cut open your own body and yank out your sibblings are they like giblets? When the world came round and congratulated the husbands first, did the second and third get jealous cause I heard they can be like that. I think I read that in a feminine magazine. Nurse, more gas and air here. |

The men provide for these siblings carrying them through thick and thin for the rest of their lives dont they? Is this not a sign of being concerned , fact that it is a responsibility for the rest of their lives. |

Depends on your culture, in certains parts of the world women are seen as possessions and the only reason to have a wife is to have kids. In Africa some men have multiple wives (espeically the chief of the tribe) and usually have more than 10 children. |
