Even if you are poor for a long while and then all of a sudden become rich, appreciating it won't last very long, you'll eventually become bored with your life. Which is why there is a vey high suicide rate with rich people, they're not happy. And the ones that don't commit suicide occupy they're life with making more money, not because they're necessarily greedy but because they got nothing else to do, and believe they will reach true forfilment when they make enough money. It's like a guy who chases a rainbow his whole life trying to get to the pot of gold only to find A mirage, a figment of his imagination. They're has to be a higher purpose to this life, don't you agree? |

honstly i think that they think that they are happy but really inside they really arnt they just dont want to show or express and many of them regret it so i dont really know they could or could not be happy |

I think that most of them are miserable people because they got to the place where they have all of this money, there isnt anything to work for, and a lot of them have the personality of a wet rag and that can be really depressing. I havent been well off at all in my entire life, and it has helped me appreciate a lot more than those with money up the wazoo. I am more appreciative of gifts and things I buy myself, and take better care of things because I worked hard for them, and deserve them. So I live a better life without being a millionaire, and I think most celebs would too. |

The real answer would be how they attained the million dollars. Many people devote budgeting and investing and patience to earning their first million dollars. Through that time you won't be as happy as you can be but in the long run it may lead you to have a safer future. Now if you inherit or win it, I don't see how you wouldn't be happy unless you were god awful bad looking and couldn't get socialized! |

I don't think they know what it is like just to get a new washer and dryer and really appreciate not having to deal with an old clunky one anymore! To really appreciate what you have,you have to know what it is like to do without. |
