Over the summer, I have spent many hours researching money making opportunities on the web that didn't require extensive work or personal info. I started off with survey sites and PTC's which didn't pay me very much for my efforts. I hope that you will listen to my advice and save yourself the time. I was looking for a site that required only an email and PayPal account, did not take that much time in the day, and made me the most income possible with the smallest minimal payouts. I have come across a highly recommended site called My Homepage Friends. It is a company based out of England that pays you to use their search engine which is based off of a yahoo web search. Yahoo in turn pays them for the revenue that they receive which is split 50/50 between you and them. It is paid in GBP but can be converted into any currency you wish through PayPal. I have done that math that included the fee for the PayPal conversion and each search earns you a little over 3 cents USD. The payout of 20 GBD (about $40 USD) is achieved in two months if you search 20 times a day. While $40 every two months won't make you rich, there are many success stories including myself who have been paid (If you are still nervous, please go online and read the reviews which are largely positive.) The other great thing about myhpf is that you do not have to go out of your way to make money, which means you are earning money for what you already do. Ok, guy's I was bored last night and I remembered my mom saying when we were in the car "why don't you get a job? Your already 15.." Anyway's so I was thinking about it and said to myself "Since I love using the computer why not find a online job!" So I went on youtube and found some awesome vids on how to work from home using your computer. I'll put up the link to a video just now. Hi there,
I've searched countless sites and forums wondering the same thing. There seems to be a fair few website's online for UK or US surfers, allowing possible sources of income such as completing surveys, searching the net, clicking banners, advertising products etc...
Unless you have a very popular website, or product to sell, and thus advertise other's from you're own site, it's going to be quite hard to make serious money online.
However, one site i've found for a wee bit extra income totally free to set up is MyHomepageFriends - http://www.myhpf.co.uk/apply001.asp?Friend=178007
Basically, you sign up, and use the search engine (which is yahoo), and for every search you make, the site makes 5p, and gives you 2p for this.. Now this probably doesn't seem like very much! But if you're making 50 searches a day, that's a pound a day and then - 30 quid a month! Plus, you get 1p per search of every friend you let know about the site..
Works well and pays you by paypal/cheque/credit card (i think.. definitely paypal!).. It's not a lot, but an opportunity to maybe make an extra £50-£100 a month for doing nothing other than what you probably already do in google - search the web! You can also check your balance at any time so you know how much you've earned!

Some or of the suggestions above might make you some money but you might want to consider something that has residual income.
First I should clarify the term “Residual income”. To me residual income means receiving a regular payment of money for something you did. So for example if you sold an item on ebay that would be a single sale and brings in no further money for that item in the future (i.e. no residual income). If, however, you got someone to join a service (e.g. Website Hosting) or membership website (e.g. Dating website) that they pay monthly to belong to, you could receive a monthly commission as long as that person continues to pay their monthly membership fee (this is what I call residual income).
To be paid the commissions mentioned above you would need to be an Affiliate for the service or membership site and then promote their site.
Affiliates can also earn commission by promoting other thing that only pay a commission once each time an item is sold, for example you might promote a specific Laptop computer as an affiliate and be paid for each Laptop sold.
If being an Affiliate is something that sounds of interest, you can find a lot of info on the web as I have done but some sites you may find useful are:-
First have a look at the information at http://www.ClickDigitalProducts.com/featured/ebooks/super-affiliate-handbook.html which explains how affiliate marketing works and mentions an ebook written by a woman who is already making money as an affiliate.
Then take a look at http://www.my-linker.com/hop/Click4Money about where you can learn more about Affiliate marketing from other Affiliates.
I am not suggesting this will make you a lot of money as your question asked, but if you worked at it this approach might have more of a potential to make a lot of money, but only if you worked at it.
If there was an easy way to make a lot of money we all would be doing it.
