Any question that has assumptions about reality that aren't real cannot be answered by a wise man. The wise man can go back and get the fool to look at his assumptions and basic definitions/meanings of his words to remake the question, but answering such a question is like answering, "Have you stopped beating your mother?" with "yes" or "no". Deeper exploration is necessary to help them see the reality under their mistaken assumptions about reality, assumptions the fool takes for granted and often doesn't want to look too closely at. |
