Are those online surveys that say you can make money a scam?
I heard they were a huge scam but im just curious if anyone has ever done one and actually made money off of it, or is there a catch? If not, what are the websites. Im just curious because it sounds too good to be true.

There are many good online paid survey sites which conduct market research surveys. Many of them give handsome rewards for your participation in online surveys. You have to join each of them individually and you get survey invitations by email. Rewards for surveys vary from $1 to $20 or more. Many pay for each survey you take or give you points which you can redeem for cash at a particular level. Some of them enter you into sweepstakes.

All are free to join. The so called paid surveys which charge money like $35 for you to join are only databases of such free to join companies, which you have to join individually. But only 30 to 40 out of those 500 or so survey sites are really worth joining.

I've included a list of the top 10 websites which I'm using on the above blog if you want to take a look.

yes, but you only make like 20 cents on a survey, and you only get like one survey a week (if youre lucky) plus your email account gets spammed like you wouldn't believe.

completely not worth it.

I found some method really great make me now about $100 - $300 daily although the owner of this method said it make $1000 daily but i'm satisfied with the results in 2 months.

He sell it for $70 (it worth more) and has 60 day money back guarantee, So you can try it 60 day risk free.

I recommend this method for my close friends and so to you.

Hi Ashley. Some surveys are scam. They are the ones that charge you to sign up. Never pay to get paid. I've done them for some time now and created a site that has everything I know about free online surveys. It has tutorial videos, legit survey sites that have paid me along with proof of payment, and contact info if you want more guidance or have questions.

yes they are all a scam. Ive tried like 60 websites and looked all over the internet for reviews on the websites. they are all fake. some will actually pay you, but theres always a catch: you have to register at other websites and buy stuff and/or you have to refer friends that will only get you money if they also buy stuff

it's actually pretty annoying. if you ever find one that works without a hassle please tell me, lol. ive struggled so much with that crap its not even funny.

they are all SCAMS....listen...

some words of wisdom for life....

If something sounds too good to be true, IT IS.

Curious
I have a site that pays $5 per survey - legit and true. I have a few other sites that pay in "points" or in ballots for their $1000 or $5000 prizes monthly. I've never won one and I don't know who has - I haven't checked to see if they post the names of winners.

But you can't make a living off it - it's just for fun.

There are a lot of sites out there that are scams. I have gone through many and have found tons that don't work, but I finally have found some that work for me.

I have had a lot of success by just using my computer whenever I can, such as in the in the morning before I go to work or instead of doing whatever I decide to do in my spare time, I will get online to make some extra cash. All I do is complete a few surveys/offers a day and it makes money for me. Not enough to get you out of debt or anything like that, but it will help with the bills or gas money.

Things that seem too good to be true usually are. For example, if you have ever seen advertisements that claim "You are the 1,000,000th visitor" or "Congratulation! you have been selected to receive two free I-pod Nanos. Just Click Here!" and actually clicked on them only to find out you have to put more in to it than you get out of it, you have been a victim of a scam. DON'T CLICK ON THOSE! ... but with these free survey ans offer sites, it's not the case.

You can't make millions from these sites, but you can make as much money as you put effort into it. If your a hard enough worker you might even get paid the equivalent of a medium-wage job. Give it a shot, there's nothing to lose and no start up costs. (The ones that do have start-up costs ARE most likely scams, DON"T REGISTER FOR THEM!, I have and they kept claiming stuff like, "Were sorry, your check got lost in the mail and can't be replaced." or some bullsh*t like that)

Here's some of the sites that I have found to be very much profitable. Beside each site I will tell you what they have to offer. I will usually make between $100 - $150 for each of them a month. Most of them accept PayPal, but all of them can just send you a check once a month through mail if you choose instead of PayPal:

http://nocatchjustcash.tk/
(offer site, payout is on the 20th of every month)

http://surveysunlimited.tk/
(survey site, best paying site on the web)

http://myreferral.tk/
(offer and survey site, payout is on the 15th of every month)

http://paidforopinion.tk/
(offer and survey site, also you get up to 20% cash back for shopping through their website)

http://sendearnings.tk/
(a clone website of the site above, same owner)

Now you must be wondering how can these sites afford this? Well, what happens is These big companies will actually pay for your opinion on things. Now, does this mean you can just call there 24 hour customer service hotline and ask, "Hey, I will tell you what I think of you products if you give me five bucks... what do ya say?"... The answer: NO! They will probably hang up on you. But, that doesn't mean they won't pay you for your opinion on their products/services... They need a middle man. And that is exactly what the sites I listed above are, a middle man.

So what happens is these big companies might pay the site, http://surveysunlimited.tk/ 10 dollars for every person that completes their survey. And in order for http://surveysunlimited.tk/ to get their money from the big company, they will offer, say 5 dollars, for you to complete the survey, which in turn leaves http://surveysunlimited.tk/ 5 dollars profit for them. Understand now? Hope so. If you don't, look at the example below.

Yesterday I took a survey from the middle man site, http://surveysunlimited.tk/. I received 20 dollars for my efforts. The big company gave http://surveysunlimited.tk/ 40 dollars to offer me, the consumer, their survey so the company could get my opinion. (The survey was actually about the upcoming movie "Speedracer" apparently they wanted my opinion on what the DVD cover should look like. How cool is that! ;-P ...)

Anyway, what happened in the end was:
The company paid 40 bucks and got a consumers opinion.
The middle-man site got 20 bucks profit.
And, I got 20 bucks.

Well, I hope this helped and good luck on making some serious cash!

Most are not scams. But, many are scams or would seem like a great way to get rich quick, but pay small amounts, and never allow a person to easily reach the limit to cash out. I have been paid from two websites consistently. One is specifically for teens, the other is avaliable to anyone over the age of 13.

I have made over $400 on a website called Treasure Trooper, it is as easy as listing your email address for 50 cents each time. And, you can make spam addresses, as long as they were created by you.

AHHH real monsters~!
the majority of them are scams. i would say that the ones that aren't are ones that you see advertised on tv. i havent done any, but those seem the safest.
