I try to be funny...funny is better than serious..there's times to be serious but we should all stop and have a good time, life is so short to be serious all the time ya know?...plus laughing and being funny are good for your health..but like I said there are times when you have to be serious... |

i consider my self a funny person. i tend to make people laugh and they say i am funny. bnut it is not the jokes that i tell but the way I tell stories about things that have happened to me. I like that about myself. finding humor in lifes mishap is better then crying in your beer. |

I think both are very necessary to get through life. I make fun of myself and many things and try not to take things too seriously, but there are times when you just have to be serious.

I am a fairly serious peron. I try to be more light-hearted... but I am usually too caught up in thought of issues such as world hunger, animal abuse, world diesease, world politics, enviroment, abuse etc etc. All those thoughts can be a real downer. Oh well I guess. It is better to know and try to change it than just being ignorant. Ignorance is bliss however. |

I prefer sarcasm and dry wit. Something is funny to me if I am the only one that understands why it is. I have a select group of people that get my humor. I think that saying something and everyone thinking you are serious is absolutely hilarious. |

I have a sense of humor. I'm not sure I'd call myself a funny person, although I have the ability to laugh at myself. Maybe quirky, but I also have a reserved, shy side. I grew up southern, so I worry too much about what other people think. One of my daughters is like that, funny with a reserved side. The other is a crack up. She should be a comedian. She sends me emails, or I read her blog (she's a very talented writer) and I'll have tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard. |

I think you need both. There are times when someone should have a little sense of humor in their lives and not be so quick to become defensive, or a “bust” among a crowd. Yet, at the same time, no one wants to be around someone who cannot ever be serious! They will then come off as being immature and childish. As the old saying goes, “there is a time and place for everything.” |

i can say that both are good and funny and seriouse :) but it depends on the people you are with if they are seriouse you cant be very funny you have to be seriouse too and the same is for the funny people you can't be seriouse with them :) |

funny means to be humorous, or behave in way that the other feels joyed,
serious means, being urself too self involved and not being joyful and not letting others to be joyful |
