i am very afraid of death. my family is very religous. but me, well i just dont really know what i believe, that is what scares me though. when you die do you only see blackness, or if there is a god can you imagine what forever is? we as humans dont even have that mental capacity to have a concept of forever. i dont know but i try not to think of it cuz i am a scardy cat |

That is a timeless question that never goes away..No, I am not afraid of dying. I believe that dying is another passage in your life. You go on to another level. I don't think you know who or what you left behind. You have no memory of being here in the life that you know now.
I don't know where you go when you leave here. None of us do, but your soul goes on to another plane. I believe that because you can't kill a soul. |

Yes. Even Jesus was afraid of death, so I don't feel like a wimp any more after learning that. But I am hoping that with God's help and forgiveness, that death will not turn out as badly as I feared when my time finally comes. Knowing that Jesus has gone through it for me helps a lot. |

I used to be afraid of death. But lately my preacher at church prepares me for death and it is not so fearful anymore. It is something to look forward to actually. God takes each of us home in our own time.....)( |

I'm afraid of dying too early in my life, but not of dying itself. In fact I'm looking forward to death in a way, you might say. It will be infinatly better than it is here after I die. But I don't want to go and have to tell people about the pathetic little life I had while I was here. |

i'm not i sometimes wonder what it is like but i'm in no hurry to find out but i dont think i would be afraid when my son was killed people always told me that he's in a better place i would like to no what and where that place is and is it really better and how would all theese people no when they arent dead |

our bodies cause a lot of misery; so when we die (i.e. the body dies), that is taken care of.

In general, I don't think people fear death itself. They fear the unknown. They don't know if it will be slow, or painful, or even when it will happen. Death is like the Dark for grown ups. Kids are afraid of the dark because they don't know what is in it... fear of the unknown.
Myself personally, I don't believe anyone will die until it is their time. I have been through some CRAZY stuff that I should not have lived through, but I'm still ticking.
Besides, I plan on living forever... so far so good. |

I hope I can explain this at least this is my opinion about death, I have a much better understanding about death than some people, My last wife died in my arms.. she had breast cancer that spread to her bones....I watched her take her last breath of air,, it was really sad but then again at the same time I knew it was her time to go .. she really died at peace... We really don't die as a sense we go on to a differnt place somewhere here on earth,but I don't really know yet I'm not had another near death experiance since 1984 when I was in a farming accident with a peice of farming equitment thats a different matter.....
I really feel we are here for some kind of purpose but sometimes we really don't know what that purpose is and no I am not afarid of death... Hope this will help you understand somewhat better about death Have a Nice Day Patrick |
