Remember that saying about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.... this is especially true at work as this is where you get your money to pay your rent, mortgage, food, etc and if you have children, True times 10.... Everyone is trying to get ahead and sometimes that means making you look bad to make them look good. Truth is Truth..... you get my point. |

wow, sad to say I don't think you have much chance of getting your job back. I have the feeling though they "allow" people on the internet there is something in a handbook somewhere saying it is against the rules. As far as your friend, what a b*tch, I mean she could have at least said something to you, and maybe if she saw it happen again then say something. She is the kind of person that makes you think about doing horrible things like scratching her car and popping her tires. Let it go and try to find something else. |

I am a RN and I work in the ER. We never have time to go on line. I cant imagine even thinking about it while on duty. Anyway. I think that you were treated unfairly. I would go to the Hospital administrator, Or Human Resources. And point out every thing you just said. You should not have been fired for something everyone else is doing, and getting away with. I personally think that no one should be on line. But the point is you were not doing anything different than anyone else. And for all anyone knows she could have been the one to pull up the site with the half naked women. You may not get your job back by going to the administrator,or Human Resources. but it will be looked into. And you will get a better recommendation if you need to find another job. Good Luck. |
