alone, at a remote stream in pennsylvania on a summer day, even though its too warm to catch a trout - you just love the fishing act, wearing hip-boots and all. A Game warden walks up to you asking about license and he recognizes your last name and asks, " your Duke's grand-daughter?" You reply "YES" and says "good to see you, good man, Duke"
Game warden leaves and you cry because Duke has been dead for 10 years and he gave you the love of fishing.
Naturally you cast your fly rod for hours if not just for the practice, but because you kinda think Duke is watching and you might be carrying on a heritage.
You go back home and say nothing about the event because its too precious |
