There is a live help on ebay.com where you csn talk to someone via chat server.
Yes, it is very possible to quit working and sell on ebay as a full time job. I know someone who does it. They sell western equestrian clothing, and they make a killing.
As a suggestion, if you find something at a yard sale at a decent price, buy it and you can sometimes double your money if its the right thing.
Hope all this helps, and good luck! |

we have made money on eBay when we moved house .even old items go for either scrap or even "vintage" collections.stuff you would throw away have started at a penny. i once sold some glass wardrobe door at a penny start and they went for £50.i wanted rid so was really happy!. have a look at items and watch them even at the last minute they can rocket. this will give you an idea on what stuff goes for generally......also look in the wholesale section you can usually find a resale bargain there too.
also be careful on the TIME you start you item because it also finishes at that time. if you list an item after six pm it will finish at that time when people are at home so its going to get more bids. we bought art glass at 99 p because it finished at 3pm when no-one is at home then i resold it for £40...ebay its ADDICTIVE! |

I would agree - you can make money from ebay - but its a hard slog and takes up a lot of time - taking the photos - writing up the Advert ...and you have no idea the amount of people out there who expect a second hand item - to be in 100% A1 Brand New condition...on saying that - the amount of Junk - sorry stuff I no longer think is useful .. have sold on ebay pays for my Holidays..I no longer chuck anything in the bin - there is someone who wants it on ebay.. I suggest you get someone who already has an account to show you the ropes ..some of the jargon will have your head spinning.. Ebay has tutorials on its website...
P.S. Anyone want 2 Concert for Diana Tickets...£300... |

Ebay is really easy - everything you do is guided step by step from selling something or buying and setting up a paypal account.
Beware - it's very adictive!!! |

The best way to get started on eBay is to get started. I teach people how to sell antiques and collectibles on eBay and am amazed at how many people spend months getting ready.
In order to help people get going faster, I have put together some free reports about eBay. The link below has four reports - images, getting started, buying and selling.

Yes, I knew someone who made a living from selling on eBay. I've sold a few things myself there too. eBay itself is the best website to teach you how it works. They take you through it step by step. I would suggest making eBay and Pay Pal accounts and buy a few things first to get the feel of it and to establish a feedback rating. It's really fun. Good luck. |

If you want to make a living buying and selling things, you first need a business plan. What is it that people might want to buy from you? Can you find a source at the right price to enable you to sell at a profit?
Once you have your plan, eBay is a good way of contacting potential customers. Just remember that it's a means of communication, not an end in itself. You can rent a pitch in a market, but that doesn't mean people will come flooding to your stall.
Everything about eBay is on the site. Just work your way through the tutorials and Q&A pages and you'll find everything you need to know. |

its not as easy as you might think, ebay and paypal charge you money for selling the items so in the end you end up with half of what you should have, bit of a rip off. |
