Who was responsible for the damages? Otherwise if its your own fault... No... But.. you can claim any clothing for work on your income taxes. |

Tell that HR Manager that you will go to Corporate and claim he said you and your buddy have 'sweet little butts' unless he reimubrses you for your clothing.
He will cough up the $$$ right quick.
Alright then. |

You may not be able to get it reimbursed from the company itself, but you can write off the clothes that you buy for work on your taxes. just make sure you keep the reciepts |

nope its considered part of the uniform, just dont buy new clothes- be smart- use an apron and have certain clothes that are work only, let them get as much pain on their, untill your manager complains then be like- well you wouldnt reimburse us for some new clothes since our job has ruined them so we deicded we couldnt afford new ones so we kept the old ones. |

You should be able to if it was the fault of the company. I have heard of it happening. Try talking to HR again if they brush you off, then maybe you need to take the next step and go above them. |

You an only deduct from taxes if you can only wear these clothes
at work. I think it's thirty percent of your income before it's tax deductible. |

wear a shop apron, or be careful. Spillage is caused by careless handling of paint, and rips are caused by improper lifting and material handling. don't expect someone else to pay for your inefficiency. this is the real world. get good at what you do.. Consider the English chimney sweep, cleaned chimneys in formalware, and seldom got it dirty. |

They won't reimburse you but you can claim the loss on your income tax -- probably. |
