People do it all the time, that's why England is in such a mess. |

to get the money you would need to pass the ID checks and the credit checks
default on the first loan and you woudn't get a second because finance companies share information |

Of course you can, it's not that difficult.
Just so long as you are prepared to spend a significant amount of time in jail when they catch up with you. And believe me - they WILL catch up with you. [It's called fraud!] |

nope. because you have somethink called a national insurance number which never changes, even if you change your name millions of times.
even if you declare yourself bankrupt, your total debt dosnt actually get cleared, just a part of it. and taking out that much money, you would have to have a pretty good income and job in the first place! |

I work for a bank and trust me they will always find you! They have their ways, and if your credit is screwed(which it will be) you will problems for years trying to get it back on track. |

You may have to buy a fake id and live life as another person, also you need something like a house already to secure such a big loan in the first place, you could just apply for lots of credit cards which are unsecured and run them to the max and basically run away. Is it worth all the hastle? |

The banking system is geared up to catching some pretty sophisticated frauds. I don't think they'd have much difficulty sorting out any scam you can dream up.
If you borrow money with the intention of not paying it back, you'll get a gaol term as well as having all your assets seized. (Sounds painful) |

You can but everything would catch up with you eventually and then you would have to declare yourself bankrupt.
Then you wouldn't be able to get a mortgage, never be able to get anything again on HP etc etc and you will be marked as a bad creditor. |
