If they got a court order, yes. If not, well sounds suspicious to me. |

You probably signed up for automatic payment and didn't realize it. A lot of companies will pre-check a box at their website to allow it. If you didn't notice, and un-check it, they can and will take up to the max they can, as soon as they can! |

Be very careful about using your debit or credit card on the Internet. Make sure that you check out the site and most importantly read the small print (user agreement). You might have signed up for something you didn't want. They can legally take money out of your account if you said "I Agree" on the user agreement until you contact them and cancel whatever you agreed to. |

It depends on the contract you have with them. For instance, if you rent a movie at BlockBuster Video and don't return it, they can charge you for it under their Terms of Use. |

Are you siure you don't have automatic withdraw? When I was backed up on my bills, the collectors invaded my checking account luckily I only had $7.00 in there. I don't even mess with banks anymore. I have all my money loaded onto that Walmart debit card. I either swipe that, or if I need to write a check I go and get money orders! |

No they aren't allowed to take your money...unless somewhere in the fine print of your loan or balance account says they have a right to take it out...with late fees, if you don't make your payment on time. Check the paper work ...bills/statements/contracts you have with this company. |

No that's not legal! I would call them asap and tell them the payment was not authorized. |

You have to stop Automatic withdrawal Funds through your bank, it seems like they
have your card # and even though no payments were made for so long they still
can take it off your card #, unless you put
a stop payment on the card, but discuss it
with your bank. |
