The wrecking, which has been already mentioned, and this can happen with anyone drinking or otherwise.

Depending on age, you can be charged with contributing to delinquency if you are older and knowingly let them drive, or have your license suspended for allowing an unlawful driver.

Anything they may foolishly do, drinking or not, you become involved in. If they commit a felony, you can become an accessory and be charged with equal penalties.

Your status changes slightly depending on whether you are licensed or unlicensed. A person who holds a license carries a little more responsibility than one who doesn't.

Yes, you really aren't considering riding with a drunk. Oh well . See you in the obituraries.

you can get dead if you crash but if you get pulled over you should be fine (cuz your friend wont be driving anymore)

kingskid418
Sure, you could be killed, maimed, paralyzed, and more in a drunk driving accident.

Also, even if you are a passenger and your friend is stopped and you have been drinking, you can get ticketed for underage drinking, depending on how old you are.

My feeling is if you are asking this question, your not old enough!

Not really but you can get killed by the drunk driver.

Yeah, you could die! I would suggest you stay out of drunk peoples cars! It's much safer.

You could get yourself into a lot of trouble. You could get kidnapped, lost, injured, or killed. Anything could happen when you ride with someone who has been drinking!

First of all, they could crash and injure you or others. Second, people who have been drinking do, on occasion, irrational things (like running from the Police). If this happens, when the cops finally catch him, they may consider you an accomplice. You have to convince them otherwise, which may be quite stressful while looking down the barrel of a bunch of 9mm's and 12ga shotguns! The moral of the story? Don't drink and drive, or ride with people who do!

momashott69
it depends on if your on probation or parole or something but if you weren't drinking you don't have anything to worry about

probably because the police may think both of u were drinking

mogadi
I think that it SHOULD be just as illegal to ride with someone who's been drinking as to drive (especially if you have a license). you're also making a bad decision, you're just taking less responsibility for it.

kellysmiles89
No, its just dangerous

anniejake_19
I don't think so. If you are underage they will call your parents to come get you. Otherwise you will have to find a ride as the drinker will be going to jail. Question for you? Why would you get in a car with someone who has been drinking. Are you looking to die from a drunk driver.
