I live in London, England. When I'm in the states the best international calling card is called 'Sprint' . I purchase it in CVS. It's for 10 dollars and you get approx 3 hours calling time.
jAS
yes but the $5 one is better. also take in mind that it depends where your destanation call is...

Sure if you want only 5 minutes on it. Actually international calling cards are getting cheaper and cheaper. I would go to a source (i.e. an ethnic store). Then look at the back, make sure the connection fee isn't outrageous, and then see how many minutes you'll get. Keep in mind that every time you call there will be a connection fee. Usually about $1.50. So make one call if you can and make the call last.

They even have them at the dollar store here! But you'll only get about 15 minutes talk time on one.

Sure you can! And expect the call to last about 15 seconds before it is used up! However, you can "charge" these calling cards in increments of 50$, 100$ and up. A 30 minute call to my lil' sis' in Kiev cost me 25$ lowest possible rate and that was from a private phone! Calling cards often have rates as ridiculous as 25 cents or more (US) a minute, when a good landline rate might be 10 cents a minute intl. Call yourself directly too, and save a bundle!
