Romans 1:21 and following:
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
God calls his people to Love the sinner, but hate the Sin. Christians following his commandments will treat homosexuals as any other neighbor, until that person begins to press his ways upon others as good and normal. At this point the Christian may react with (carefully measured) anger and will do such as neccessary to protect his own family and society. Who would want to invite God's anger as happened in two towns in the old testament by trying to get along by going along? |

You have the power to pronouce any statement you choose. Hopefully, though, you'll want to do more than call out words / heaps of abstraction, and prove that your statement is a sure grasp of nothing but the truth.
Everyone has the power to pronouce, or refrain from pronouncing, statments that reveal, result from, and so easily perpetuates ignorance, stupidity, and evasion from thorough analysis of all matters germaine to the subject.
IMO, too many people pronounce tooo many statements in the name of their gods, and, sadly, too many people sheepishly perceive such as worthy to be called "guidance" for human living and they blindly follow it without thoroughly, and objectively, investigating the matter.
IMO, human being are capable of using their minds better than this. To me, it's evil that they don't, for what they do when they do the above amounts to war against the human mind, spirit, soul, heart, and body and, therefore, amounts to self-contradiction. Thus, they become perpetrators of the ultimate of all evil through their very own thoughts and acts of condemnation. How does THAT please any god? How is THAT "godly?" Why is THAT not recognized and seriously charged as "ungodly?"
Let me counter the question with these for whatever it's worth to the inquiry and discussion.
What's the proof that it's ungodly? I mean what's the effect that we're labeling "ungodly?" What does the effect look like? What does it sound like? What exactly is being condemned, and why?
What effects have ever been caused exclusively by homosexuality that homosexuality as a whole should be considered unacceptable / ungodly?
What is a worthy and complete definition, knowing what we know now, of "homosexuality" and what about it is worthy of exclusive condemnation? and, based upon what really happens in the real world, why?
Anyone can scapegoat their ignorance and thoughtlessness upon any religious text. How about providing us with the results of, and justification for, your own thinking |

Well, when you and God discuss the matter offer coffee at Starbucks, then you can have the final word. Until then, mankind's so-called spiritual leaders are never going to stop villianizing this group or that under the pretense of it being god's (note lower-case...) will. Remember the Crusades? 9/11? The extermination of the Mayan civilization? I highly doubt God would have approved. |

Satan has, since his fall, called the designer and author of universe ignorant, stupid, and his followers mindless, insisting on proof of what is evil. He has thoroughly deceived even himself. How can we expect more of those who have allowed themselves to be his toys.
If such day to day proof were available, those that follow God, would be rewarded by the same token, and would be much better off in life than those who have rejected the Word of God. And if that proof was so evident and available, there would be no need for faith. Everyone would obey out of fear or greed, and really would feel like mindless puppets. As it is you are given a free will. From the first man, and woman, everyone has chosen to run away from God because of deception. Only God can bring us back, but we must ask first, confessing our sin, and believing in our hearts that God will do the good work through Jesus. The trouble is, that many who do ask don't ask with all their hearts, and do not have faith that God will work good in them.
NIV: Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. The homosexuality is not a common behiavor as some people want to be. This tendency has shown that the MOST of the gay people (not all) is sexually disordered people, so in this point God have something to say and rules to protect us to ourselfs.
So, if you're homosexual ...you have the right to chose to live your life as you wish, just keep in mind that God keep loves you and if you would feel a confusion about your feelings, he can help you to live your life as free as he has made you. |

So does Romans 1. I think it is natural to fell that way, but it is also natural to want to kill someone, to hate, to commit adultry, to cheat, to steal, etc. Sin is very natural. That is why Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself, so that we would not be bound to the laws of being human and could live with Him forever. |

According the scripture, it is a sin. However, we've all fallen short of the grace of God. Your sins can be washed away.
I Corinthians 6:15 Don't you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which belongs to Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! 16And don't you know that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, "The two are united into one." 17But the person who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18Run away from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 19Or don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. |
