You can only do it if your atm card has a visa or mastercard logo on it. If it does it works as good as any credit card. If not then it won't work.
BTW, there is such a thing as an ATM card. It's a card without a visa logo. It only works inside the bank or at the bank's atm. So not all cards are debit cards. |

Nope you can't, You can only use Credit Cards. You can get a Debit Card which acts like a Credit Card it has Master/Visa written on it. I'm not sure but you might need to be over 18. |

As long as it has a visa or mastercard logo on it. |

Usually not. Payment methods vary with each company. But if you attach your atm card to something common like Paypal, then you're more likely to pay for things with your atm. |

you can use your atm card to make purchases but keep in mind that if someone gets a hold of your information it is not refundable in your account. You are protected by using a credit card because you can tell them about the charges and they will investigate the whole thing for you and freeze your account so no one can use your information. |

I have used a debit card (you will need your banking information that is attached to the card, however) to make an online purchase before through paypal.com (this is considering the site you are making the purchase from accepts paypal! :) |

I think it has to be a credit card. One can get a credit card where u load cash onto it...but it works just like a credit card--if u don't like credit cards or have bad credit.
Mastercard makes those and other companies too I'm sure. |

it depends on the issuer (bank) of the ATM /debit card whether it allows u to make online transactions. generally u are enabled by giving u an online tranc. id and password.
Then it also depends on the vendor from which u are buying whether they permit autodebit/ or debit/ atm purchases online.
u must be able to get this info frm ur bank and the website u aretrying to shop with. |
