No. No one will notify you a check has been cashed or deposited. You will see it on your month end activity report depending on how your account is set up.

Depending on your bank, you could see online whether it cashed or not. If you don't want to enroll in their online banking, then you will have to A) wait for the statement to come or B) keep checking with the bank asking them if it has cashed yet or C) call the person and ask them if they cashed it. Thats about it.

no, the bank will not contact you, most banks have online sevices. call your bank and get signed up for that and you can check your account online as much as you would like to.

just wait for it to clear your account (check online or by telephone banking). You will get no letter or phone call.

No the bank will not call you to tell you the check has cleared. You will receive a statement once a month and it would be listed on there. Also most banks have online access and you can check the status of your accounts that way as well.
