first you should learn to read a map
it is simple up is alwys north down south left west right east (that is if you put it the right way but if letters are upside down you would notice)
and then you should learn what can you tell from the position of country or citiy from the map
you can tell climate,natural resources, oh and most atlases have major currents in them and natural resources
when you learn how to use a map anything you read you will be able to connect with what you see on the map
like if city lies by the ocean chances are it has oceanic climate by that you can tell averege temp rain by that you know what kind of plants grow there by that you can tell is it important for the industry and so on |

clue, just understand what you read then the word that hards to remember make thinks of somethings that sounds like or same meaning so that it can help you remind the said word. |

I studied in Britain and its a good experience. I learned the world just being there, coz place is so small, i mean smaller than Sout Carolina. So they end up showin news about the rest of the world. They literally have no cops on the streets. If wanna know Geography get at me. okay |

Well, i guess it all depends on how much time do you spend in the preparation of that subject. If you got difficulties in this subject matter then i guess you'd better limit your extra curricular activities and give this subject an effort. You must learn to refer not just to one book but as many reference as you can get much better so that if the book that you are currently using doesn't give you much explanation, try referring to other books, maybe it could give you a better understanding. When reading, don't just read... comprehend. |
