You can print a non-protected name, say, your own or your company's on a brand name shirt and sell it.
For example you can buy a plain white Hames t-shirt, print your name/logo on it, and sell it.
You can not print a Name, image, product logo, etc., that is copy-protected without permission.
For example, you can't print sports logos on any t-shirt for sale without permission. That is because the image used is copy-protected.

PiggiePants nailed this one. You may print anything you want on a shirt as long as what you are printing is not owned by someone else. Of course, there are obscenity laws and such, so you'd have to consider those as well.
amosunknown
nope. not unless you buy the shirts from them as a wholesaler who uses them for that purpose. but you will have to pay them royalties.. thats IF they will sign with you.
