Some banks of celebrities have allowed checks to be written in pencil, crayon , on table napkins ......, but I would not personally advise trying either. |

Checks have security a feature that the background color will be removed if rubbed by an eraser. It should be pretty clear that the check was altered. Also if you make a mistake, just scratch it, don't rub. |
