Go to college, get the basics down. You'll get some pointers there that might help you figure out your path.
You can follow your heart and use your brain. Whatever it is that you want to do, artist, bricklayer, teacher, master surfer... anything can be done with more finesse and a better understanding if you get educated. Plus, you can get more respect for your ideas if people know it comes from an educated person. |

I always say go with the gut feeling. Try not to second guess your answers, usually your first answer is the best one. Always remember that everything happens for a reason - so if it looks like you chose the wrong path - you probably didn't... it was probably the only way to get you closer to that other window of opportunity.

Trougth the life, you will have to make those choices, not one, but many times.
It depends on a lot of factors, i could tell to you that you should do what you like the most, or what you are good at, but i don't know about the economical compromises you have to acomplish, or about the persons who rely on you.
So, what i try to do is, always look for what i like and what i am good at, but, there has been moments when i have to take some other activities or objectives at work, so i try to find the way to do it with my heart, trying to find something to like and enjoy about it.
Eventougth you make a mistake on some choice, remember that you can always remake it, and do it better. |

If you're confused about what to do in life, you should talk to a close friend or relative and get all the extra imput they have to offer. They can't tell you what to do, but sometimes they can point you in the right direction. After that, sit down in your favorite place and put your favorite song on quietly, or just sit in silence, whichever you prefer and think. Sometimes it even helps to get a pen and a piece of paper and just start writing wahtever comes into your head. I'm sure you can figure out what the right thing to do is, just weigh your options. |
