No, you're not psychic. No one is. There have been zero confirmable cases of psychic events in world history. You are simply remembering the times your premonitions appear to happen and you are forgetting the hundreds and hundreds of times they do NOT occur. Don't admit to too many people that you think you are psychic or you will drive away well educated people and attract idiots. |

I'm not saying your not psychic, but because things appear to be correlated, doesn't mean they have a scientific cause and effect relationship. For example, red and black numbers come up about equally often on a roulette wheel, so even if you randomly guess what color will come up next, you'll be right about half the time without being psychic. People tend to remember things they were right about rather than wrong about sometimes. I know that feeling though where it seems I've guessed the future before it happens. My suggestion would be to flip a coin 200 times and guess in advance of each flip whether it will be heads or tails. If you always guess correctly better than 70% of the time, I'll agree your psychic! |

I disagree with Mr. Curious. I'm both well education and intelligent. I believe in the possibility of psychic powers. In fact, it is studied at the University of Arizona. It's far too easy to discredit what we can neither prove nor disprove. Whether or not you are psychic may be yet to be determined, but keep an open mind. |

You know, it's still very controversial-clairvoyance, precognition etc. Many studies have become inconclusive, as I learned in psych 111. But I still somewhat believe in psychic abilities for some reason, cause predicting the future is a phenomenon believed by almost all cultures. If you do have the ability, I think you have some form of limited precognition (predicting the future) as opposed to clairvoyance (knowing the events occuring elsewhere at the exact same time). I say it is limited, becuase the event occurs right after you say it. I think a good way, is to do a yahoo search of some psychic million dollar prize, that is awarded to someone who can demonstrate the ability at a lab-to this day no one has won it. |
